Ordered my paint matched bug shield with a 10% off code thanks to our fellow board member Shadango.
It finally showed up today (almost 2 weeks).

I love the look, compared to the others I've seen with the "wings" on either side, hopefully it does it's job and protects the windshield etc.

Bolt on, the directions are straight from an Ikea box, terrible.

There are little clips that go into 4 holes under your hood, the screws go into those. Some adjustment left and right on the mounting brackets, so I took my time working each screw down bit by bit, stopping to drop the hood and adjust until I was happy with where it centered.

Pic from further back.

I'll get one from the side in a little bit and post it up.

Easy quick install, love the looks, don't have to worry about small rocks hitting my windshield anymore.

Does it rub the hood anywhere? I asked about air deflectors and someone posted that they are rubbing the paint off the hood over time. I like the looks of the body colored ones.

That's a great question, I just put it on yesterday and have driven it all of 10 miles, so nothing yet haha, I will see if I can get some pics from above to see how much clearance there is from the hood (if any at the point where it bends around from underneath).

the chrome ones dont look bad if the grill is chrome too. it blends about as good as his does but for a painted grill thats the way to go .

ive had mine on since late sept right after i got the truck. when i put mione on i used a small piece of 3m tape in the area when the deflector curves downward on the side of the hood. thats the only area where i could see this being an issue. i look at it each time i wash and dont see anything happening as of yet

ooooo, I like that! I may have to think about one of those for myself. The only think I don't like about the deflectors is all the crap that gets stuck at the bottom between the deflector and the hood. Things like leaves, bugs, and other stuff from trees.
