I just bought my 2018 Ram 3500 and it had the 1st Gen Air lift on it. I'm new to all of that stuff as my old 2500 I didn't have it. I think the Air Lift has a leak in it as the compressor is constantly going off while driving or sitting, no matter what I set the PSI to. The remote also seems to be glitching randomly.

I am a fan of keeping everything MOPAR for simplification and was looking to possibly swap out the air lift for the mopar kit so I could get the dash and key option to raise and lower. Has anyone done this? Or is this a bad idea from veteran truck modifiers / towers?

Mopar likes to slap there name on 3rd party parts built to there specifications. That same company will usually make a 2nd version with there name on it at a lower cost built exactly the same. Like NGK. Couldnt say about the airift though. It can be difficult sometimes to track down.

Just thought id throw that out there

You're better off finding the leak. A bottle of soapy water or glass cleaner on the fittings and tops / bottoms of bags. I believe their compressor has a checkvalve on the pressure line that can leak. If it is an old system I'd consider updating it.
The MOPAR system is a closed sealed system so you would need alot of parts to get it going. Plus you lose the versatility and adjustability you have with regular bag kit.
