Hi everybody, I just purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic with the 3.6 and 3.55 gears a few weeks ago and I am very the most part. I come from driving mostly 4 cylinder cars so this is a big upgrade for me. I did drive a HEMI too and there were just too many cons to it, in my opinion.

I don't want to beat the dead horse of cold air intakes pros and cons, but I have a specific question about it. Does anybody have the Mopar intake and does it help to reduce the need to downshift on hills? I know it adds a cool sound but I don't think that alone is worth $430. I was looking for things I could do without warranty issues down the road. Thanks.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. While I can't answer that specific question I put in a drop in filter(spectre) k+n type , good stuff.

Unless you get a Tune CAI do nothing on these trucks. But had the Dealer give me the CAI when I bought the truck...lol...

A drop in aftermarket filter does about as well.Unless you're doing other perf. mods a cai does next to nothing on its own.

Thanks everybody, I'll just stick with a drop in for now and save $400.
