Mopar Denying Covered Repairs on Maximum Care Lifetime Warranty

You can almost bet in their mounds engineering documents they have a design service life for almost every component in the truck and once it's met of exceeded it's normal wear and tear. I suspect shocks are somewhere shy of 140,000 miles.

My 2009 Dodge Ram Crewcab Rambox Lonestar hemi. Came with lifetime power train warranty, 0 deductible.
Purchased lifetime Max Care 100.00 warranty.
put 442,150 miles on truck.
Many, Many items replaced/repaired. Original engine, tranny, rear axle.
One of the last items claimed on was wheel bearing, repaired around 200,000

Fca came back and denied the claim. I paid to have it fixed, filed claim with them and 4 months later got a check .
But I remember the lady telling me “ your truck has exceeded its life expectancy “. FCA did pay out a lot on my truck . Got my $$$ worth over many times.

I had a lifetime warranty once.When the cost of repair costs more than the value of the vehicle they pay you the value of the vehicle instead and cancel your warranty.Makes sense when the vehicle has high mileage,is at an age where it is depreciated a lot.A major repair can easily cost more than the market value of the vehicle.

Hum, technically, everything is a wear item, it’s all in what they do and don’t want to cover in the end.

Extended warranties are one of the biggest scams going. Very rarely are the worth it.

I'll agree with this but argue the warranty being talked about qualifies under your "very rarely" criteria. FCA stopped selling these a few years ago and many insider reports are that it was because they are losing their ass on them.

If you keep your vehicle for a long time and don't mod it, this warranty is a great deal for many. I realize I'm just one person but I'm at about 7K in repairs and paid $2300.

my warrenty says 999999 miles so basically a million mile drivetrain warrenty i replaced the radiator then found out it was under the warrenty

I have a 2006 Dodge Durango, and I have had luck getting repairs covered under the lifetime extended warranty through Chrysler, but now it seems they are starting to pick on things. Currently the pulley on my water pump is squealing, the tech at dealership is saying it is the belt, which i just had changed with two idler pulleys at my mechanic. The same dealership tech said the water pump has no moving parts.

The sad thing is I have a second Chrysler vehicle with a bad TIPM Fuse box and it has been at dealership since Jan 19th, they cannot get the part for it, and now I am without a car and they wont issue a loaner.

Has anyone experienced similar issues ??

I've owned an 08 Patriot, a 15 Compass, and currently own a 15 Ram 1500 RCSB 5.7 4x4. I've gotten 2 new engines and a transmission out of Chrysler for each of the jeeps under warranty. The Patriot jad 248k when the 2.4 let go and the compass had about 165k when she got an internal engine block crack. I've also got a new fuel pump in the ram as well as a new TIPM and some coolant system work. The compass has also received a new PCM new wheel bearings, a new wiring harness. Everything covered. But I have had to pay for a main harness in the compass and a PCM and associated harness in the ram (currently in the shop) because Chrysler said it was due to corrosion and they will not cover corrosion created problems. Both parts are clearly covered by the contract and it doesn't mention corrosion. But the wiggle room language in the back says Chrysler will not be responsible for "design flaws". I call it weasel room language. In other words they're not responsible for the design flaws that they designed. Just wondering how I go about suing them?
