Installed Mopar molded mudguards, purchased through the dealer's parts. Less than 6 months later... well, have a good look at the attached photos. And...of course, Chrysler won't repair it.

Not looking forward to paying for damage done by a "MOPAR" product. Sigh...

That sucks, and it's been a common known problem for some time. You know, could be a nice excuse to install fender flares....

Damn that rubbed thru bad, I’m not sure clear 3M tape under that edge would have worked. That might have cut right thru, do they have a sharp edge or what?

it sucks but i as stated before it is a known problem with them. A lot of people will put 3m clear protection film on to protect the paint under the mud guard, but as JB1 said it could have very well worn through that too.

I have the same ones on my truck and they have done the same thing. Not cool. Im building a set of flaps for it and then taking them off.
