So about a year and a half ago I got wheels, tires, and a level put onto my truck by RPM Offroad, well this is the EXACT specs of the parts a I put onto the truck,, actually copied from their website

Zone Offroad 2" Leveling Kit, Toyo Open Country M/T 35x12.50R17, XD Misfit Black 17x9, Fox 2.0 OEM Series Front and Rear

The Truck is a 2005 5.7 1500 Quad Cab, and I have been noticing with these Toyo MTs, the ride is really really hard...

So with that being said, what kind of shocks can I buy to soften my ride up considerably?

Im not good on shock/strut talk, but I usually catch on very quick..

Fox shocks are supposed to be top of the line. How rough is the ride? I've never bought fix shocks, and on my truck only went from 105k on stocks to new Monroe struts. They're considerably stiffer but not uncomfortable to ride on. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will pipe up.

Is the truck 2wd or 4wd?

Are the shocks adjustable? If so you can change the dampening to a softer setting. Other than that, it is the springs that would make the ride the stiffest, not the shocks.

Its a 4wd, and its just the stock series, so from my understanding its just the stock shocks but from Fox?

You're not really going to soften the ride up much by replacing the shocks. The stiffness comes from the torsion bars being cranked.

Well dang. Torsion bars cranked are a must so I guess I'm out of luck.

Unfortunately that is one of the drawbacks to cranking the torsion bars. In my experience it seems like once you go over 2" suspension gets significantly stiffer. For me 2" was still soft enough and pretty much levels it out.
