Morimoto 9005 high beams

I recently purchased some morimoto led high beam low beam and fog lights. Installing the lows and fogs was easy but when I got the highs the little box wouldn't fit inside the housing and I'm not sure what to do about it. Please help if you have had this issue

I got the box in but couldn't get the cover back on. The heatsink stuck out too much. I put the halogens back in until I could figure out a better way...

***Edit - it was the eBay LEDs that I could fit the ballast in the housing. It was much smaller than the ballast on the Morimoto's.

There's a lights place round town say they can get it to work but it's a $100 installation fee I don't know yet

Yeah, $100 installation is pretty steep.

Mine don't flicker... at least not that I can tell but the electronics are a little different on my '12. Usually a capacitor helps with flickering lights but I have no idea what size you would need.

Ok so retro source sent me this bc the dust cap won't go back on because of the bulb being too big for housing how do I use it

Haha!! I was wondering what those were for... Glad I didn't throw them away... Still not sure how they will fit though. I can try again this weekend when I get home.

They don't fit well I can't get it in there maybe you can though did you end up using morimotos

I have the morimotos in my lows. I put the stock high beam bulbs back in when I couldn't get the dust cap to fit.

I am working in Charlotte this week so it will be the weekend before I can try again. I am not really impressed with them in my lows... Was hoping for better than stock but they are about the same... They work great in the fogs though.
