Do the housings have the resistors built in, like we had to use with 2015+ for HID lights? I noticed the headlight wiring schematic had an optional resistor plug and the morimoto website directly lists resistors as an add on option. I wonder if thats the issue with the tail lights? I dont have either delivered yet, but I was just curious

It’s always the pass side . Just for ***** and giggles, swap lights to the other side and see if It does the same thing. I’m dealing g with customer service at trs and they say it’s my truck being the issue but I know for sure many other trucks are dealing with the same issue on pass side.

I will see what I can do. kinda disappointing that they are trying to blame your truck, hopefully they fix this for us. I will update it in the tail light thread with what I find out

Well for anyone wondering what kind of company TRS is. Matt promised me fog lights since I had so many issues with my headlights from the start and said they would ship out as soon as I returned the old ones and as soon as I shipped them he stopped responding to my emails and have not shipped the dogs that was almost 2 weeks ago had I known then what I know now I would have returned my headlights for a refund

So I decided I wanted to take a look at my headlights aiming tonight, i have a roadtrip this weekend that will be alot of night driving. I found a place level with a building i could shine up against and put the truck 25ft away. Problem is my driver side does not look like its able to have the sharp cutoff like the passenger side and the light is angled up vs the passenger side being flat. Any suggestions? Do I need a new drivers side light??

^^pass side doesn’t appear to have that bright center hotspot, seems dimmer than the driver side
