Looks amazing! Those are the "open box" XB's correct??
Yeppers $600 with that 4th of july 25% off discount had to pull them open and fix the adjusters. Might have to pull the passanger side open again it looks like there is something off with the outside projector aiming at the ground and separate from the inner one. Haven't had time to re-open it up yet and didnt really notice it before putting it back together.
I sent mine to Retro Shop to get them all dialed in. Even with their fee i still come out on top with these "open box" XBs!
I dont mind the idea of $600.00 for an open box set, but if I had to open them up once (much less twice) to fix them, how much have I actually saved?
Time is money, as they say
They are made from butyl literally took me less than 10 minutes to open it up. Now I agree if they were permaseal it would have been a way worse project and probably wouldn't have bothered with them.
Butyl is what makes them easily opened and resealed. I sent mine in because i am unfamiliar with exactly how to fix them and i wanted it done right. Either way i still saved over $500 on a set that basically looks new.
This whole thread has become a bitch fest from some saying to expensive, some crying about the output is not better than stock projectors/quads. Really just watching people cry cause the option is not for you. Don't like them for any reason just refrain from purchase or comment. Its one thing to have an opinion but really how are helping if all u do is cry. Wouldn't it be easier to just let those people who choose a diff source for there headlights to just be. But then again I'm a just go back to my drink aka Jack and coke and continue to laugh at how this thread continue to get jacked by others hope the original thread gets back on topic or not.
