Mpg drop

2017 Ram 2500 Tradesman 6.7, 67000 miles
changed ccfilter, lost 5 mpg. What happened?

cc filter? Nothing would cause that much of a drop unless you got an exhaust leak effecting fuel trims or perhaps your getting into winter blend fuels? I always loose at least 2mpg with winter fuel.

Agree with blackbetty14 changing the CCV should not cause your mpg to drop and most likely your getting winter fuel that always drops fuel mileage, I have not ever had winter fuel cause a drop of 5 mpg in the last 16 years of owing a Cummins engine...
