don't buy a muffler, just just get a QTP 3" cutout and put it right after collector at top of midpipe. if u open itit will sound incredible like a race car and if u keep it closed she is stock quiet. they are 70 bucks. i did the 44 series flomaster then deleted resonator then went to the 10 race series then put a 4" tip on it.

this is what i needed from the start, probably wasted 500 bucks or more.

take 3 mins to open and no switch to go bad or wiring to f**k with20190211_130936.jpg

This is what I'll be doing next time, I do love the sound of the cherry bomb extreme I've had on my last 2 rams but no longer want the full time sound. I've had electric cutouts on my 66 buick for about 15 years now and love being able to go into "quiet" mode (still pretty loud but much less than open headers basically).

My diesel sounds fine with full deletes but then they always do......both mentioned sets sound good but one is a bit "fuzzy" sounding.

I had a Flowmaster 50 on my 2012. I live in the immediate NY suburbs (which probably has housing much denser than most suburbs - approx 70 ft wide lots). I didn't want to be a wake-the-neighbor guy. I liked the sound - it was slightly more throaty than the stock one but didn't rattle windows. I'm thinking this thread will only confuse you more as you now have 10 additional options than you started with

I have a Mopar Performance cat back duals on my '04 Ram. Coupled with the Mopar cold air induction makes a nice sound especially when you step on it.

I still remember the Ram I took back for my dealer back when I was a lot attendant

Catback and CAI made it sound pornographic, loved it!

So, something must have changed with the 2019 exhaust? Yes, I meant to put a question mark. The Outlaw 817846 is not listed for anything other than the 2019. Bummer! I would love to do what blade did with a cutout, but New Jersey does a drive over camera inspection and they are illegal here.

Put a heat shield under the cut out.

Yep, the muffler is a single inlet / single outlet that pipes into a Y out to the dual resonators.
Pretty easy to swap out now.

Looking for Muffler replacement for my 2019 RAM and its killing me.
Making a choice based off youtube blows ... I aiming at Flowmaster or Magnaflow.

It is my daily driver. I want obviously louder than stock but not shaking walls . Interior to a minimum.

Too many to choose from in Flowmaster line up.
Super 40
Super 44
Delta series in whatever
50 Series
50 Hd

Magnaflow ...no idea

I see so many here doing the Super 40 or Super 44 but even with videos if I'm not standing there hearing it.. I just can't pull the trigger

A real easy solution for you....I had the mufflers lopped of my Ram, just straight piped now....3 years later and it still makes me grin and laugh every time I drive it. especially when the accelerator is matted. The sound is phenomenal....just saying

I love my Magnaflow.
57 yrs old, so remember all the cars of my Youth.
Really sounds great whenever I open it up , yet just a mild, "I can kick your piece of crap cars ass and not notice it" rumble when just tooling round town.
Zero Drone when MDS kicks in.

Sorry, but what is MDS? Thank you.
