I know there is alot of different brands out there... I don't really care what brand. But I want to make my truck as loud, deep and aggressive sounding as possible. Brand doesn't really matter and I will take anything into consideration besides a straight pipe. I don't want to tear up exhaust valves and I want some back pressure so I don't lose low end power. I also don't care if its a cat back system, or true dual or whatever.

I have been looking at and considering true dual Flowmaster Super 44s, or single in-dual out Cherry Bomb extreme. I want the loudest, deepest, most aggressive sound possible. If you have a nice sounding exhaust system on your truck, post what it is please!

Lots of thread posts on here if ya search around. If you don't want to be replacing your exhaust every 2-3 years and live in corrosive environment (winter with salty roads, near coast ext) make sure it's a stainless exhaust. The aluminized ones will rust once that thin layer of aluminum gets nicked exposing mild steel.

I have a flowmaster 10 series. It is the smallest that they make. It's loud!

If you do the muffelr delete your truck will be a slug driving around town.. like mine. Im sick of the muffler delete 0 back pressure MDS slug that my truck has evolved into. i got the mufflex system and at first i loved it, and still love it at WOT, but for around town it is the worst.

There is a huge misconception around here. Doing a muffler delete will not make your truck " a slug with zero backpressure"
Firstly the catalytic converters are the biggest restriction in the stock exhaust. Removing those would cause a drop in backpressure. IIRC the stock muffler flows something like 940 cfm so theres not much restriction there.
Second even if you removed your cats and ran open headers or what ever you are not going to " tear up" your exhaust valves, not sure where you got that idea from...

All that being said a muffler delete is the cheapest but maybe not the deepest sounding, probably a flowmaster super 10 (single chamber)or like a dynomax bullet (straight though, various sizes)

REALLY, is that with your 06 or our 4th generations? Dude I got ******* ears too and the muffler deletes from a dead stop accelerating are pretty gurgly and raspy, it doesn't sound good until higher rpm's where it sounds smooth and clean so NO it's NOT like a super 10.

Muffler delete is the way to go on a 4th gen from what I've gathered via youtube.

As long as you leave the cats on, you will be fine. I have a 2014 ram hemi and I went and had the stock exhaust taken out from right after the cats to where the muffler connected to the dual out pipes. I had them do a TRUE dual with muffler delete, so all I have now is cats, and resonators. It's loud as hell, but I love it, and I noticed some torque and power gains.

Really where did i say a muffler delete was like a super 10?

Allow me to copy and paste

"All that being said a muffler delete is the cheapest but maybe not the deepest sounding, probably a flowmaster super 10 (single chamber)or like a dynomax bullet (straight though, various sizes)"

I know muffler deletes sound like ******** in a tin can from a stop untill the rpms get up there, that why i didnt exactly reccomend it for him. I was just trying to explain that doing a delete will not burn the valves
Thats an old wives tale, like " using syn oil will make all your seals leak" :wtf:
