Any ideas on who to get it from? I checked autoaccessoriesgarage.com from the Cherry Bomb page, and they don't have it in stock, but if I order today it will ship from the factory in Tennessee tomorrow. It would be about $62 from them, shipped.

Ok, I just ordered them and I am figuring just getting tail spouts to dump right after the rear axle, as I don't really see the point in turn down tips since they won't really be seen.

ok, I got the confirmation this morning that my order is being processed, so I am curious now as to what the stock pipe size coming out of the stock muffler is, and is there a way to turn the dual out into a single since I am just going to dump them behind the rear axle?
like a reverse y-pipe maybe? if there is such a thing

Thanks,
Zach

Why would you buy the si/do if you're gonna just combine the dual outs to a single pipe? You of course can do that, I just don't understand why you would do it like this... it'll cost more this way. To answer the y-pipe question, there is no "reverse y-pipe" specifically. A y-pipe is non-directional. It can be installed in either direction. As for the pipe size after the stock muffler, I can't say for sure, but my guess is 3".

From the manifold to the Stock Y is 2.25in, After the Y- it goes to 2.75in, then 3in after the muffler. So I went with 3in Y and kept it 3in all the way back

No prob....I run LT and run a 3in Y-pipe, and keep it 3in all the way back. Since ur running stock manifold , and stock y-pipe, using a bigger y-pipe you may lose low end.....I wouldnt replace that y til you get headers

ok, the y I am thinking about putting on the mufflers outlet, but if that won't work I will probably look into getting dual tail pipes, just having a hard time finding them. My trucks a 2003, 1500, QuadCab, SLT with the short bed and I am hoping to dump them after the rear axle.
So, any suggestions on any?

Most exhaust shops can fabricate tailpipes for you. Dumping after the axles is a prefered method, to reuduce drone, and the echo off the grouund give the tone a crisp growl.

Find a good local shop and supply your muffler and just tell them what you want the end product to be like. Some shops will let you hang around and make sure its to your spec also. Thats the quickest and easiest way to get what your looking for.

Yah, I asked around and there's a muffler shop about 45 miles away that does a pretty good job for pretty low

Ok, got the muffler in and brought it up to a shop who is putting duals and dumping behind rear axle, they are going to be on the stock muffler side so they can use the factory hangers, they estimated at $80
