broke down in traffic 2 days ago after a 400 mile round trip to the desert! verified fuel pump not happening!

Been scouring rockauto for a pump (bosch or delphi brand only).. im seeing different variations in part numbers but they all look identical between engine sizes and similar years..

Bosch has 2 numbers for different wheelbases but delphi has one pump for both!!

what gives?

DELPHI FG0817 for smaller CID but looks the same? (someone has a delphi new in box nearby)

Rockauto has various options:

1/4 tank but pump was making a noise varying alot in sound - going up and down in pitch alot (i hotwired it and listened. Also tapped pump, swapped relays, checked fuse, no codes). Just air coming out of shrader which i would say is from engine heat buuklding pressure in the rail,

The different model numbers are based on tank size probably. You have to have the correct sending unit for your tank size. 26 gallon, 34 gallon, 36
