And here it is 2 hours later. Takeoff Limited wheels and tires off eBay for a steal and factory step bars ordered from the parts department at a better price than they charge to put them on at the factory. Probably all I’ll do for mods for awhile other than possibly a limited style chrome door molding.

Beautiful ride. Great taste in colors too. I also added the chrome trim to the doors after I bought my Laramie 3 years ago to break up all that white. The wheels look great too. How's the ride comfort going from 18's to 22's, is there a big difference?

I can't answer about ride quality, but that's because I don't want to know. I drove the truck 7 miles to my house and immediately put those 22's on there so I really can't say I drove it enough with the 18's to know the difference. I knew that no matter what it would ride worlds better than my 2010 Silverado so I wanted to go right to the 22's and just live with it. It would be harder to live with if I drove it a bit on 18s and remembered just how every bump felt.
And I was right, it feels worlds better than my Silverado did on 18s or 20s.

Where did you get the chrome trim for the door? I'm not buying the factory one because it's crazy expensive, but something very similar in size is what I'm looking for.

What a drastic change, thats what I want to do with my truck but you know funds, so those are the tires and wheels off a Limited, Good question about the Chrome Door trim that are on the Limited it really dresses up the side of the truck, Great Color and wheel Choice!!!!

My first fca vehicle since the 1998 neon I bought for $500. I’ve been a lifelong gm guy, and may still be one, but my silverado was disappointing and these new rams just kept jumping out at me. Time to give it a chance. So far I’m loving it.

Got the wheels and tires off eBay for $1200 with 900 miles on them, if not for that price I don’t think they would have been in my budget. Not sure what I’ll be able to get for the factory 18’s, but I’m hoping at least half of that.

Looks great. I know it's not much of a difference, but I kinda wish they would've stayed wtih a 33" tall tire instead of the 32" trucks are now getting.

My wife had a chevy. I had a ram 2500. I couldn't stand driving that thing. Nothing wrong with it but the driving position drove me nuts. Ram seats, atleast in the 2500, sit higher, the chevy felt like I was sitting in a bowl on the ground. No thanks. If I wanted that feel, I would of drove my scat pack.

I bet you'll have zero problems selling those 18" and tires. Many folks prefer ride over looks. Can't see wheels while you are driving, but you sure can feel them.

When I saw your first pic, without reading your whole post, I thought, nice but needs better wheels. Then I saw your second pic and read your whole post, lol, so good job reading my mind!

Hard to remember for sure but pretty sure I got the chrome door trim off of eBay. It still wasn't cheap but as I recall the dealer wanted $75 for installation and I'm not paying anyone that kind of money for a 15 minute job. Anyways it still cost around $150 because it was OEM. You might want to send Benny at AllMoparParts.com, one of our site vendors a PM to find out pricing and availability and ask him about free shipping too.

I know exactly what you mean about the Silverado, my dad has a 2008 LT crew cab (I also had a 2011 and two 2014's not to mention many of the older gen. models)Terrible ride compared to the Ram and terribly underpowered with the 5.3 compared to the Hemi.
