So I ordered some LED square pods for the rear bumper and some strobe lights/emergency flashers for the tail lights(I'm a disaster responder for the Red Cross).
LED Pods: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y2CJ95O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_PilDxbXX4Z8ED
Strobe Flashers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CIG9E9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_BjlDxbNHTJGT1
I went with the off name brand as opposed to Feniex for cost and trial purposes. Plus I'm an Amazon Prime member so I ordered them Tuesday morning and they came Wednesday morning for $3 shipping.
I followed a DIY loosely in the DIY thread about putting the lights in the bumper... its pretty self-explanatory... cut a square hole in the bumper and stick them in.

I disconnected my existing reverse lights and wired them to these LED pods, you'll see why soon.

They're pretty bright, actually causes some lens flare when backing up, but I can see behind me much better.
I ALSO wired the positive wire together behind the bumper and spliced a LONG wire from that to inside the cab to a switch panel so the lights will come on when I reverse OR when I toggle the switch inside... give myself some options.
Back to the rear of the truck, I removed the bulbs from the reverse lights in my LED taillights and installed the flashers in the housing where the reverse lights USED to be. I ran those lights to a power wire inside the cab and connected the sync and ground behind the bumper also.

So I ran both devices to a new switch panel inside the cab and they are connected to the cigarette lighter circuit so are active when the accessory is on. I think I'm going to wire it to the battery with a fuse in line because I want them . be usable without the key in the ignition.

Other than that, that's it for now....small project but I'm happy with the functions of both and the light output of both considering how cheap it all was.
