Yea it will be a brand new replacement from the factory. It was just unloaded at the dealership about an hour ago. Just waiting for ISG and Ram to get their butts in gear so I can go pick it up.

Well truck is at the dealership and do you think I get a call from ISG or Ram. NOPE! Left two messages and nothing. I hope my replacement truck has no problems cause Ram and their in house lemon law company (ISG) is not a fun thing to deal with whatsoever. The only helpful person thru this whole thing was the salesman at the dealership I bought it from. Also I am now told that my truck has to be driven to another dealership 55 miles away. Not transported but driven. So Now I am going to get a new truck with over 50 miles on it. This is not short of a FAIL on Ram's part.

OK, I'm hooked. I need to read back what happened here.

I don't get why they have to take the truck and drive it 50 miles away from you? Is it actually earmarked for you specifically? If so, drive down to the dealership it is at and claim ignorance.

Hope this works out for you.

50 miles is nothing, do not sweat the petty stuff.

One more thing, https://kinja.com/stevelehto. That guy is a respected automotive lawyer who posts on a well known car site. There might be some nuggets in his writing or even reach out to see if he has advice. Cant hurt.

Yes it is being held for me. I can not pick it up till ISG sends a rep. They will not send a rep to the dealership it is at. Even though both dealerships are the same both Arrigo Dodge, and the sales man said he has done it before. Even both dealerships said it was ok. Just ISG and Ram being difficult. I am just about done with them, and thinking about having my lawyer take over and stick it to them. I have been nice every step of the way, dealing with call backs taking 3 to 4 days. Dealing with 2 different people from Ram saying they would compensate me for all my troubles. Yet getting no compensation. My case is cut and dry 6 breakdowns for the same thing over 30 days in service. It's all just crap.

I would assume you have a decision to make before you pick up your truck. I am willing to bet they will make you sign something that states you waive your rights to come back at them for this. Anything they ask you to sign should be reviewed by your lawyer first so you dont get backed into a corner you cant get out of.

There will be a ton of temptation to just take the truck and say F it but you can hold out a few more days so you dont get screwed even more.

Wow, sorry to read this-hope you get your new RAM soon. Hard to believe FCA is STILL dealing with fuel pump relay issues. My '13 Durango was on the TSB list for this and replacement TIPM's could not be found. Someone engineered a "patch around fix" on the Durango forum, that Chrysler copied. Twenty five buckaroos to solve the issue. Good thing too, because the replacement TIPM units were faulty. Fuel pump gets stuck either full on or full off.

Ridiculous.....you sound like me dealing with the cable company. I try the nice guy approach and were does it get you?? Hours on the phone explaining the same issue to 5 people as they transfer you from department to department.

You should just take whatever loaner they give you and not come back until your new truck is ready. I couldn't take the "hope it starts" every time I need to go somewhere. That's insane.

Seriously, good luck. I'm new to Ram and have to say my 15 has been flawless (knock on wood). I think you just got "the one".

Good luck

No not getting much. They are replacing the truck and charging me 205.50 for transfer fees. No compensation for time off of work, for having to have other people get my kids from school. Now I have to figure out my own transportation to the dealer 64 miles away. My company buys 4 trucks usually every other year and my friends company buys 2 trucks every year. Guess who we will not be buying them from anymore. I have had it with Ram and their version of taking care of their customers.

another fuel pump issue?

Yes. Same problem 7 times. Last time in for repair they had a Ram engineer looking at it for almost 2 weeks. I think my truck is the definition of a lemon.
