Guess what 1150 miles and another fuel pump bites the dust. WTF? Time to lemon law I guess. Even though I really do not want to. :(

Wow, that sucks! Truck looks great but I'd definitely get Lemon Law involved even though you don' want to. I agree with someone else who said they would think something else is wrong to cause now three fuel pumps to go bad within 1,200 miles.

This time the service department finally wised up and agreed with me that it is the TIPM that is causing the fuel pump problems. Just hope this fixes it for good. Also hope I get it back before Christmas. BTW never take your truck for service at Arrigo West Palm Beach. I had to basically tell them how to fix my truck.

Sorry to hear that, I didn't realize you had a fuel pump problem until I read all the threads. I agree with a previous member, 3 strikes so demand a new truck.

Now I am being told that the TIPM will not be in till and estimated January 12th. That's not even a definite date. I have contacted Ram customer care and they are not very helpful. They do not call back when they say they will. One customer rep said she did not call me back cause she could not get a hold of the service manager at the dealership all day. Funny I called and got right to him. So I have asked them just to replace the truck and their response is we will call you back tomorrow. So we will see how it goes and I will report back. Ram has really dropped the ball here.

Maybe a call to your attorney will help move them along? Bad situation regardless of outcome.. hope it all turns out - because that's an awesome truck!

You should be able to get a new truck without much hassle. My Father-In-Law went through the Lemon Law process a few months back.

Ram has really dropped the ball here.

I have exact same truck Joshwaa - sorry to hear about all your problems. One major concern I had about trading my Honda Ridgeline to Ram was reliability. Had two Honda Ridgelines over ten years and they were absolutely bulletproof reliable.

I hope for all our sake this is just one really bad experience for this poor fellow and Ram gets this right. Not liking Ram's customer service response to him! No issues at all with mine so far and hope it stays that way cause I really do enjoy this truck..

I really like my truck also. I had an 05 Ram 1500 previously for 10 years and had no problems with it. Just wish the service department was a little more intelligent and I did not have to troubleshoot it for them and tell them what needed to be fixed. Also upset that my truck came with a bad TIPM to start with. I will keep the thread updated with all that goes on with the truck.

Damn. That's horrible. My dad had a brand new 2000 cummins 2500 and 250 miles on it. Plugged into the boat trailer we had and somehow the wiring was shorted in the fuse panel for the trailer lights and it completely melted the fuse box just short of catching on fire, the truck still ran. But no electrical at all. Lol

Well I went on vacation this weekend and guess what. It broke down again. Fuel pump stopped working again. This time supposedly it was a bad connection. Had to go to a dealership in Ocala, FL and they put two damn scratches in the drivers door of my truck. I give up.

That sucks. Why is it so difficult for mechanics to NOT damage your vehicle when you take it in for service. I always dread taking mine to the dealer for anything.
