I have owned at least a dozen D/W trucks and Ramchargers in my 20's. Drove them all from a slant six A833 1/2 ton p.u to a 360 Ramcharger, 78'-85. Dad had a '78 Club cab W-200 with all the trimmings. Had a lot of fun and learning experiences. One thing I do not miss is the rough running in cold wet weather and the old pressed on front drive hubs. Other than that I really like them all. I even took a power bench seat out of a Old's Cutlass and stuck it in my '85 Ramcharger, ,lol.
I don't have pics of all of them. This was during the late 80's and early 90's before I had internet and digital cameras. This one here was my first Ramcharger, '78, 360, auto. Was also my first 4WD truck.
I bought it for 800 bucks with a 360 that kicked a rod through the pan. Bought a 360 out of a old 70's Dodge cruiser, I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, my grandpa had one. Had round headlights and turn signals. Anyway, paid 300 bucks for that and had her running, also installed a plow. Later it got 2" add a leafs all around and 35" tires.
