Yea, I always follow raptor pages just because they have pretty good content. I've had Dodge/RAM pretty much most of my adult driving history and social media since it all came out. Being 32 I was there for the beginnings of IG and FB. My 2500 was a mid travel thuren build, we had 1 forum/media page (dtx). I've been high and low on Insta and when I added you and a few other Rams on IG was the first time I've come across Battle Rams page or any real Ramrunner content. I didn't even realize the Dirt King Kit is what was on that prototype Rebel! I mean c'mon! It's a shame, our trucks are mostly represented by 20" wheels, shiny paint and big bro lifts. I am always soap boxing to my buddies about our trucks, they will argue with me about capabilities until I take them for a rip, and my truck isn't even all that setup. I've built alot of trucks, and run alot of platforms, this by far has some of the best OEM performance to build off I've seen in a non speciality truck.
The time is what makes this a passion. I know all about time. I spent 2 months ,every day, to rebuild my Jeep Project I just got on the road. Full Body and drivetrain resto and swap. My buddies all build tube buggy mega trucks. It's all time and sweat equity, not to mention hard earned cash. That's kinda why I don't care for Raptors, it's simply a bolt on rig. Still cool and capable, but it's bought. Kinda like a jeep wrangler. Everyone has one. It's overdone. I mean, for a DD id rip one, but for a build, nah. Plus think about it, the real serious guys are doin links and bed cages.....we already have half that equation. I follow terra crew and every showcase runner is 5-10 year long build progressions, this is dedication to progress in this sport. Look at how far your truck has already come. One day I'll make it out to the real dunes.
