for a lift/wheel/tire combo...just completed my first year of college and am now VERY actively looking for a job (as opposed to my not-so-serious job hunting before). I have the money for a decent down payment on a Hemi (used) but will wait till I'm settled into a job to actually make a purchase. For the time being, I will be setting aside money for a whole lift/tire/wheel combo(for the future Hemi, not my crappy 3.7)... 6" lift 35" tires 18" wheels...I LOVE that look. So far i am $25 in :Hump: got a long way to go but yes that's my story for the day!

It's taken me my whole driving career (15yrs) to finally get a truck I can mod, enjoy. Take your time. Save your money. Buy things as you can. Focus on one project at a time. Look for good deals, jump on them if the timing is right, and you'll have a modded truck sooner than you think. Just gotta stay focused.

Dont spend all of your money on the truck. Trust me.

If I were you, I would start saving for your down payment and try and find a truck thats already lifted to your standards. We all know that the lift isnt worth crap as far as upping the value, so you could come out ahead that way. If you have plenty of time to look you will find one

LOL...being patient is the hard part. Whatever you do ......don't run up credit cards to get stuff for the truck. Its not worth it

nearly everything on my truck has been changed since day one. ive had two lifts, 3 sets of wheels, lots of tires, and finally settled on a setup i like. Almost nothing is stock besides the interior lol.

just keep your eye open on all the dodge forums and craigslist.... i found my fabtech 6" lift, 18" moto metal rims, and nitto 35" tires on craigslist for my stock suspension/flowerpetals and $500 cash and he threw in a superchips. just gotta be quick on the draw lol
