The issue with the Ram SS/T is it was just a sport with stickers and 17s.
Nothing really making it 'cool'. The '96 Indy 500 Rams were a bit more 'special' but it was just more stickers.

A collectors market only exists if people care to pay for it.
The Ram SS/Ts just never had much of a following.

Actually there was a bit more than just stickers. They had things like High Flow water pumps, a sport tuned exhaust, our Indy came with slightly stiffer suspension, but for some reason it appears raised. Alot of people think it's a 4x4 but its not.
As for rumors in the industry the 94 VTS was a test bed for what was going to be the Indy Ram. Due to budgets and availability, they went with the 360. The Real Indy Ram was much more modified than the replicas. Thats all i can remember off the top of my head. I have a few dozen online and magazine articles on it when we got the truck.
