Well, I decided it was a beautiful weekend, what better time to go out to the strip.
(Yes I beat the Cummins)
Sorry for the picture quality, it's off a friends BB. Why I didn't bring a decent camera? I don't know...
RUN - ET - MPH
1 - 15.759 - 89.249
2 - 15.757 - 89.390
3 - 15.721 - 90.676
Run 1 and 2 where just in Drive, rolling into the throttle from the Green.
Run 3 I turned off traction control (still couldn't detect any wheel spin) and kept the truck in 2nd. It was shifting into 3rd right at the timing lights. Holding it in 2nd seemed to be the ticket. touched the limiter right after the lights.
Mind you, Abq dragstip is at ~5000' elevation.
Corrected it was:
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
14.369 @ 99.014 MPH
