So the 4.56 conversion is on hold currently. I have to take care of the scrape and my frame and other damage caused by my towing company issue.

For the scrape im getting $912 from the ladies insurance so i am going to line x my rocker panels and side steps with that.

For the towing incident ill be fighting with the towing company to get the damage fixed...close to $1600 according to my body shop quote. Should be fun

probably be back on the gear swap in may when work picks up

there's a whole long thread about it but basically it was a bad month.

UCA went out, took to shop to replace with mevotechs. While at the shop an old lady scrapped the side of my truck down the two doors.
Within the next few days, brake line ends up melting...no brakes so i needed to get it towed, when it was coming off the flat bed the guy let the winch out too much and it snapped back pull my bumper out on one side, bending the frame, braking a headlight mount, and a fender flare.

Old lady's insurance is covering the scratch... about to start arguing with AAA to cover the damage from the tow company

Damn bro that's sucks. It's extra ****** when you aren't the one that did the damage on your truck. Good luck with it man. Hopefully they own up to it.

just a quick update. Just got my truck back from the line x shop. Got my rockers done, bumpers and side steps are still being worked on.

Looks great! If I had decided to go lifted route I was going to line x the same as well.

Hope it all works out, if it was his fault I dont even see the debate!

yeah the towing company is paying for my bumpers basically. they're giving me $1527 to stop further "controversy". They got caught lying to the adjuster but don't want to admit fault. Whatever ill take it.

So I have the bumpers done, rockers done, and the fender flares and my grill is getting done in line x currently.

I didn't make an appointment for my gears yet, but that might be because i just bought completely custom kings from filthy motorsports. Set me back quite a few pennies. Custom valves, springs, length, everything.Front coilovers and rear shocks

Just stumbled on some mopar oem blacked out projectors used for 285 and 325 on ebay so i said **** it and ordered them, i needed new ones anyway. I was going to buy a painted set from retro shop but this ended up being cheaper!

yeah i'm eventually going to get a custom expedition style rack made that you see on a lot of tacomas. Ill definitely check yours out
