MyGig language issue

I have a Mygig RER radio with a coastaletech adapter in my 2008 Ram (I know it's a 3rd gen truck but the radio is installed with an adapter). It's been installed for a year now and updated with the most recent software in January. I hit either the Uconnect button or the voice command button and the language switched from English to French. I cannot get it to change back to English using any standard method . I reinstalled the software upgrade with no luck. I also accessed the engineering menu and reset the radio to factory settings. No change in language. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hopefully you already have this resolved, but

It appears the RER is a touchscreen radio similar to the RBZ?
You probably have different software, but to change the language on my RBZ, Press "menu"
I get this screen:

Then "system setup"
I get this screen:

then choose "language"
I get this screen:

If you cannot do this:
Our truck came with the non-touchscreen RES radio.
I somehow changed the language to French.
(also via voice command)

I could not figure out how to change it back, so I kept pushing the "Voice" button and saying 'English"
In fact, at least once, I said, "English, MF, do you speak it?"
I was pretty pissed by that point.

I must have done that like 5-6 times and it finally asked me if I wanted to change to English.
I said yes and was GTG.

I wish it was resolved . I actually can navigate thru the menu pronouncing the French words for language and English but it still won't change! Thanks for the suggestion!

Has anyone used any of the functions of the MyGig engineering menu?

I am having the same problem in my 08 caliber i am working with a guy named sox on the lxfourums you should contact him he might be able to help you and i have tried the engeneering menu and have done a factory reset my radio is still in french

if not, did you try this: (Uconnect FAQ):

8. I changed the language by accident. How do I change it back?
a. First, press the (Voice Recognition) button that has the graphic of a person speaking.
b. After the prompt, say "system setup."
c. Press the (Voice Recognition) button again.
d. After the prompt, say English, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Dutch to change to that language.

Or just learn to speak French, LOL!
