I installed my Airlift 1000 air bags yesterday. They'll get some good testing this week, I'll be dragging around a 7200 lb trailer this week for work. Installation was super easy, especially compared to the same bags I installed on my old 2010. Those had a thicker top spacer and required spring removal.

Finally installed the Bilsteins and Movotech UCAs yesterday. The new UCAs are very beefy compared to stock so I doubt there will be any issues. Being greasable is a plus! The Bilsteins were set at 2.1" leaving me with a little rake, which I wanted. Haven't taken a tape measure to it yet, was waiting for everything to settle in. I'll get the rear shocks installed soon.

Installed the rear 5100s yesterday. What a pain in the ass. I think the rear was almost as bad as the front since you have to deal with removing the fender liner. Then the nut on the upper mount is impossible to reach. I think they are worth it though. The truck handles rough patches of highway a little better now. It's not a drastic difference like my old remote reservoired King 2.5" shocks on the Power Wagon, but I can tell a difference.

Took a tape to the fender heights now that everything has settled and I was on level ground. I'm at about 38.25 front and 39.75 rear. This is with the Bilsteins set at 2.1", which gave me about 1.5" of front lift. The Outdoorsman is supposed to be lifted about 0.7" from the factory, so that's about right. I could have maxed out the Bilsteins giving me around 3/4" of rake, but I like how it sits now. With the air bags and 1.5" of rake, I'll be pretty close to level when I have a heavy trailer hitched up or a heavy load in the bed. I hate having my ass drag the ground when loaded up. Visually, it looks to be level though. Drive shaft angles look pretty good as well.

Poor truck has had a trailer hooked up for half of it's life. My average MPG reflects this as well. Here's a snapshot of my fuelly account. It can only get better from here. :D

One day I'll get bored and input my data into Fuelly... It'd be a pretty boring line.

What a loaded post ya whiner! At least it's not a lifted one this time. I'd say that's likely been your mileage for the past year in total? :roflsquared: *I'm getting 14.8-16.5 on average with my around town lately with dropping off the kids and the idling in traffic. Last highway trip was 23/25, until I started to romp on it dropping it to 18. :D

Lol. Wasn't complaining really. My averages would have been much better of it weren't for a quarter of the miles tracked pulling a 7k+ trailer. 8 mpg sure does bring the averages down. I never tracked the mileage in the PW, but I don't think the last year was even as good as those numbers. I'd be surprised it the average was over 10.5...

I've had a couple of short highway trips and the numbers come up pretty good. I don't think I'll have a problem getting at least 18 or so on the open road.

Picked up a BNIB Vararam from a member on here and installed it last Friday. This one has the smooth finish lid so I could do some custom painting later on. Didn't install the radiator cover, not sure if I'm going to or not. Also left off the engine cover. There's a wire harness that runs behind the radiator support and looks to block a little air flow (probably negligible) so I removed the clips and tucked it underneath the radiator support and secured with a few zip ties.

I don't have the best calibrated butt dyno, but I can tell a bit of difference, especially when punching it on the highway. It's got a mean growl too!
