Mystery gear ratio

Maybe someone can help me figure out what my axle ratio is (?)
Monroney window sticker says 3.55 in one place and 3.92 in another, believe it or not!. I got the build sheet and it says 3.92. There is no tag on the differential and no sticker in the glove compartment.
RPM's at 60MPH appear to be around 1950, but for some reason, that seems to vary. I've seen 1750 at 60 too.

If it says 3.55 on the left side...that is standard equipment. If it then says 3.92 on right side that is optional equipment.

If it is on the build sheet that is what it is.

The Rpm check would work if you have the same size as the build sheet and the comparison truck the same.

Thanks. I guess since the build sheet shows 3.92, that's what I have. Do the RPM's seem right? (20" wheels)

provided your tires are 33" with 3.92 gearing and in 5th gear (545RFE) then at 60 mph is 1600 rpms, 70 is 1870 rpms
If you had 3.55 the 60moh = 1450rpms, 70mph = 1700rpms
