nav bezel swap

I've got a single din bezel for the oem radio now I want to go double din in the near future I found the double din bezel that I want to go with.My question is are they hard to switch out.I'm also looking for a quality back up cam tired of changing mine out because the keep going bad any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Pull bezel off, unscrew and swap internals (HVAC, power, lighter), and then put back on. But it wont fit with the stock radio I don't believe, because of the two knobs on the sides.

It's easy. I'd suggest going to your local Harbor Freight, and getting a set of interior tools. Under $10. Don't use a screw driver to pull the bezel out. Most double din head units have an input for the back up camera...so you could pick one up from them.

I second the not using a screw driver. Nice mark in my truck to prove that point.

I had thought about doing this also when the stock radio craps out.

I have a single din clarion nz500 which is only 6months old there isnt much it wont do the one I'm getting is the double din clarion NX501 I like the cleaner look of the double din radios and bezel better
