I have a 2010 2500 Hemi with 189k. Dodge just told me the Cam and lifters are starting to go out on Cyl 1.
I’m not a mechanic but not green or afraid to try to do that work myself.
Do you think it is doable job? I want to switch out the engine eventually but need to save first. I figure if I mess it up, it would end up being a core trade, if it works it buys me some time to save.
I have a milling high flow oil pump and will order a Melling Cam and liters.
And what special tools would I need and any tips?
