Hi Ram Forum,
Well, I sold the 1997 Dodge Dakota SLT that my father bought off the lot in 97. He sold it to me and it has since taken a turn for the worse funcitonality wise. The wife told me it was time to upgrade. I loved that truck, we had a lot of history.
A month ago, I bought a 2013 Ram quad cab 1500 Sport, black on black, and it's beautiful. Trifold tanneau cover dealer installed, dealer installed heated seats (mine didn't come with that option) and I made sure the dealership took their logo off my tailgate, as I made that a priority when buying the truck. I don't want my new truck to be a rolling advertisement for them.
Anyway, I'll put up some pictures when I get a chance of the Dakota and the Ram so you can see where I was, and where I am now. I already have a list of mods that I want to complete after seeing this forum. I'm happy to be here. Oh, one of my co-workers have already named the truck. I'm a Star Wars fan, and being black on black, it's appropriatly named "Vader".
I look forward to many long years and many postings here on this forum.
