So I put my 2015 Ram 2500 Hemi in park at the McDonald's drive thru a couple of nights ago and ended up stuck at the window for 25 minutes trying to shift out of park. Whenever I would pull forward on the shifter, I would hear a clicking from the base of the shifter (inside the steering column) and it wouldn't shift out of park. I finally found the little white lever inside the steering column on the BTSI, and got it home.

On the drive home, I noticed that the CHMSL wasn't lighting up when I hit the brakes, so the next morning I bought a replacement Brake LIght Switch on my way into work and swapped it out when I got home last night. No Joy.

I have since noticed that:

-The taillights light up when I hit the brake pedal, but the CHMSL still doesn't.
-The horn doesn't work.
-The power lock buttons no longer work.
-The courtesy lights flash, but the horn doesn't honk and the doors don't lock when I turn on VTA from the fobik.
-The BTSI won't disengage when triggered by the brake pedal or when triggered by AlfaOBD, only when I press up on the bypass lever.

I hooked up Alfa OBD and read codes:
BCM
B21F8 - Exterior Lighting Power Supply Input 1 open circuit
B1208 - Anti Theft indicater short circuit to ground
B1626 - Cargo Lamp control short circuit to ground
B178E - Headlamp switch input Short circuit to + battery/Open circuit
B1609 - Panel Dimmer input Short circuit to + battery/Open circuit
B162E - Right Low Beam Control circuit High short circuit to + battery/open circuit
B1636 - Right Hi Beam Control circuit High short circuit to + battery/open circuit
B1632 - Left Hi Beam Control circuit High short circuit to + battery/open circuit

ABS
C0040 - Brake pedal switch stuck
C0042 - Brake pedal position sensor short circuit to ground

ECM
P1C4E - ABS DTC Present
P0455 - Evaporator System Large Leak
P0441 - Evaporator Purge System Performance

After clearing these codes, the following codes came back almost immediately:
BCM
B21F8 - Exterior Lighting Power Supply Input 1 open circuit
B1208 - Anti Theft indicater short circuit to ground

ABS
C0040 - Brake pedal swithc stuckl
C0042 - Brake pedal position sensor short circuit to ground

ECM
P1C4E - ABS DTC Present
P0456 - Evaporator System Small Leak (changed from P0455 - Evaporator System Large Leak)

Also, after clearing the codes, the EVIC now shows a message to Check Elecronic Brake System.

I'm suspegting a wiring harnes or connector issue, but don't even know where to start looking.

Any suggestions?

If you would like I can get you some wiring diagrams for everything and you can start with the diagrams and make sure everything has proper power and ground.

If you can send me the VIN for your truck I can get you proper wiring diagrams.
