Need a little help

Have a 2012 crew cab express. Wanting to get a new head unit, under back seat sub and amp. Only listen to newer rock so it doesn't need to go boom boom. What's some good **** to get?

For the sub hit up Stereo Integrity and take a look at the MagV3 and PM me for deals on amps as I can find some pretty decent prices out there. Head unit is all about preferences and what you want for accessories with it, I would go to local stereo shop or best buy and play with some of them.

I have a kenwood ddx372 and added a backup camera as well. Love my setup. Most guys on here either go with a fox box or make their own for subs.

Gasser I am taking my truck in on Tuesday to get an upgrade for my Alpine system. I will find out what box they are throwing in. I know it's a hidden box with 2 10s and a hidden amp area(1000 Watt).

If you can wait until Tuesday I will get back to you. I am having them do everything...650 for all the parts (2 10s, 1000watt amp, box rhino lined in black, 4 GA wire and the splitter for the back on my 8.4A) and 75 for install and they deal with the hassle and 3 hours of work.... seems more then worth it to me.

2 memphis 10s, renegade Amp. I am not looking for any thing competitive just something to get more out of my system and from looking around seems good enough for my needs. The place that is doing the work warranties they stuff for a good period of time so if I blow something I will take it back. Also it's the only shop in town and has remained opened for about 15 years. If they were selling junk everyone in town would know.

Honestly I wouldn't know I have lived there for a year and last year I was away with work but my soon to be ex called me complaining about it. We lived about a mile or so from uptown where the big party is and she could here all the music and everything. She said people were parking in our neighbor hood and everything... then of course closing time came around and all the idiots go back to the cars and woke my 3 kids up.

A lot of arrest though for a small but yet big event.

2 memphis 10s, renegade Amp. I am not looking for any thing competitive just something to get more out of my system and from looking around seems good enough for my needs. Not saying you need to compete and the Memphis 10s will serve you well but man that amp. I would look at the pioneer D series amps before going with a $100 no name brand that's discontinued. That's just my opinion, been around car audio long enough to know you get what you pay for and brand new $100 amps don't lost long and never and I mean never put out what they claim too.

I think I am going to roll with that amp for now. Honestly I can't afford a different one right now either. I will up grade in a couple months to something else. Out of everything the amp is the one part that does worry me. I am not a pioneer fan though any suggestions for and 1k amp? Sorry gasser for hi jacking!

Lots of 1k amps out there for one that does rated power be prepared to spend $200 or better.

Been a fan of Skar Audio amps and their LP1000.1 would be a good start for a budget amp. Soundqubed makes a 1200.1 that is pretty beastly as well and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Check out PPI as well as they have been offering some great products lately as well. After those price starts going up.
