Greetings

My home is in Minnesota but I am currently in Southern Cali. I have a 2015 Ram 3500 with a camper on a flatbed. It threw a code showing the supplemental braking system needing servicing.

I'll be in the Palm Springs area on Monday 11/4 and am looking for a recommendation for a reputable shop to look at it. I do have the camper mounted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Do you have your jacks on the camper? With the camper mounted you may run into a lift height, capacity, or center of gravity concerns that limit the shops willing to work on it.

Some dealers service pro masters and 5500 service bodies and should be good, but I’m not sure all dealers have bays set up for it. Trying to get our class A serviced was a pain, even though it was a ford V10 chassis.

One thing about Southern California's desert area,
Several auto repair shops have Pits to work in, because of Earthquakes.
There have not been any Quakes recently, that are worth mentioning.

I have not lived or worked down in the Desert for a long time.
North of Palm Springs a ways, there is a town/city called Banning, i would be surprised if between the cities of
Indio, Palm Springs or Banning, there is more than a couple Brake Shops that could handle your truck.

Banning is about 25 miles North of Palm Springs along Interstate 10, which is the main Highway in that area.

You may have to look up a Camper/RV/Trailer Brake repair shop & ask if they can handle your Rig

Good suggestion. I think IR a couple large RV camper places in that area. Yeah, look them up, give a call. And/or call the dodge dealer too while you're at it. I would think they could jack the camper up and work on it outside the bay doors...but a quick conversation should get you some answers. You're smart to book it as soon as you can. Although brake issues might be a priority and get you in sooner. (or not??)
