Hey fellas,

I want to improve the stance of my truck with a minor level/lift. I am not particularly interested in anything greater than a 3” lift. I don’t want to unnecessarily compromise the ride or longevity of components, but I don’t need any additional off-road capability. What kind of kit should I looking for? A simple spacer kit? A kit with control arms? Other?

Here are the two I’ve been looking into

Spacer kit will be fine. 2.5 will let you run 35s

Ok, that would be perfect. I heard mixed opinions that such a spacer kit will compromise my ball joints. Any credence to that?
Thanks for the input

Bilstien 5100’s are the way to go vs those spacer kits

Cheaper to run a set of bilsteins or eibachs and much better ride than spacer lift too.
Take a look at the eibach pro truck kits

Great info. I’m going to go with the adjustable strut. Glad I checked here!

Thanks for the info

I have the 3” Kit from Rough country, due to a “ Very anoying squeak” that the shop can’t get rid of, it’s coming off very soon and adjustable bills are going on. I am however going to leave the rear spacers in to give me a Slight rake.
