hey guys

i have a 2000 ram sport and i have the dreaded play in the steering wheel is there a way to get rid of this i've tightened the steering box and, the sway bar and all that junk is new does anyone have any ideas and has anyone ever gotten there steering wheel tight

If its still sloppy after tightening the box not sure where to tell you to look next. I can t tell you though that the steering wheel will never be as tight as track and pinon. Check loose bolts, drag link, maybe even the stabilizer.

If your steering stabilizer is old, replacing it will take a lot of slack out of the wheel. When I got mine, I probable had a good 30 degrees of play in it. Swapped the stabilizer out and adjusted the gear box a little and took care of most of the play in mine

you can adjust your steering box . If your box wont tighten i would recommend a new box
