Need help installing SRT-10 Front Bumper on my 08 Ram ST

Ok so I have a project build with my ram, I wanna put an srt hood in the front, i've already found one on carid.com, but thats not the problem. Ive seen alot of guys on instagram who have put srt bumpers on their normal 3rd gen rams. i asked one guy about it, THIS IS THE KICKER....

Says i need a front bumper reinforcement for the ram sport in order for the bumper to work. Ive looked online and have not found a ram sport reinforcement. To me they look identical.

if you want a SRT bumper on your truck you only need to buy the cover, the only issue you will have is the chrome bumper you have will be visible behind the grill opening in the bumper, so what most do is either vinyl wrap your chome bumper black or plasti-dip it black, both will make it look like its supposed to, the "sport" beam that is used normally behind the SRT bumper is visible as well behind it but its matte black so in the end as long as you make your chrome bumper black then you will be set

well then you're better off then lol, its just like the 06-08 sport covers, it fits right over the chrome, ive done it a few times

I forgot to throw in, if you notice in the pic of my truck I have the plastic bumper cover that does not have the holes open for fog lights. Will fog lights be a problem installing in the srt bumper cover ? Or just a simple installation because I know for a fact it has the holes

remove all plastics on your bumper before you add the new cover, fog lights will bolt in from the back of the bumper very easily and will fit right into the new holes

Excellent! I thought you would have to replace the whole bumper... BTW, if you just want the lower spoiler, do you need to change out the chrome bumper?

there is no lower spoiler on the SRT bumper, are you talking about the sport cover?

I think Tangohemi is talking about a front bumper valance. It's basically that little chin spoiler on most Rams. From what I seen you don't have to replace anything. I see chrome bumper covers with the valance.
Now if you want a custom made splitter for an srt bumper or any ram bumper, I went to KDesigns.com

the chrome bumpers have their own little plastic air-dam, the sport bumper covers have their own air-dam (they also have the bigger bolt on one that goes with the OEM ground effects as well, and the SRT is pretty much is what it is lol

yes, the "Sport" front fascia and spoiler... I had one on my first '03, but it came from the factory with the whole kit..

ive seen that lip from the sport bumper attached to the chrome bumper a few times, not sure how it mounts but ive seen it done
