Ok I just replaced the main bearings, rear main seal, and timing set on my 5.9 rebuild and yes used assembly lube on all bearings and crank the bolts were tightened in 2 steps first step to 20lbs second step to 85lbs per the book. the only concern I have is the engine is REALLY HARD to manually turn. Once it turns using a breaker bar to turn it its gets easier but still takes all I got to turn it. is this normal for my situation or does it sound like something is off ? should I loosen the main cap bolts and retighten to double check the torque ? I know it wont turn like a spinning top but I don't think it should be near impossible to turn either.
