I ended up with two different piles of junk to make it sound nicely. The 2007 had a blown motor and the 2006 did not. Because the interior on the 2007 was much better I swapped everything. Seats, carpet instrument panel, harness ect. Differences are the 06 has a power back window 07 defrost. 06 had sunroof 07 did not. 07 had premium sound with amp 06 did not. I had the Hvac units side by side and did not see a difference and I went with the one that had less damage and it ended up being the 07 hvac with harness. After reinstalling I noticed the 06 did not have the proper connections for the heated seats, so I swapped the harness for the seats. Also used the 07 entire steering column because it was in better condition, also added the additional speakers and amp. After I noticed an additional connector on the right hand side appears to be possibly for the clearance lights on the 06 which the 07 did not. the 07 harness also has a connector on the drivers side I believe is for the hands free or something along those lines. My problem is the truck will not start unless you jump the yellow starter wire. Seems like most of things work minus no crank with key. I switched in the 07 ecm skim ignition and it just fails to start. I have been digging into wiring diagrams and it appears there are several slight differences on the two trucks one is the 07 has a purple ignition sense wire on the skim ignition switch and the 06 does not seems to be same part numbers but it is not there I also put in the 07 TIPM. I am about to swap the harness but that requires you to remove the hvac and dash again and I just feel like im missing something simple. They did have a remote start installed on the 07 but I believe all the wires just had been added in and I cannot find a break. Because of the mixed information I am having a difficult time overlooking something I just know it. Please someone help me straighten this out as I am about to pull out all my hair lol. Thanks.

Welcome! Ah the neverending tale of mix & match and the fact that people just don't understand it isn't that easy anymore lol. Do you have wiring diagrams for both? This shouldn't have been undertaken unless both those diagrams were on hand.

Would have been easier to move the 06 motor over to the 07 truck.
