Guys,
I have been searching and researching with what little free time I get and need some help. I have been getting some quotes for a lift and wheels / tires. Turning out to be a bit more that I was expecting so my original plan with blacking the truck out is out the window. Also since it will be a pavement queen not looking to go real big any way. I am thinking a 4" suspension lift with 20x12 wheels and 33" tires. Does anyone have a similar set up? Any issues with rubbing that can't be rectified by trimming some plastic? Any one have pictures? Would love to see a nice front on shot to see the stance and a side shot to see the wheel gap.
I can find plenty of pictures of a 6" lift with 35" tires but would love some good pictures of 4" lift and 33" tires.

Thanks

Your stock tires are 33" so they may look a little small with a 4" lift. My truck has 34" tires on it and is only leveled in the front for reference.

If you have the budget throw some 35's on there. If you don't have the budget for 35's then I would save more.

35" is what I would prefer but this various shops, 3 total now, say I will have issues with 35x12.5 tires on a 4" lift. Even though the lift specs say they will accommodate a tire that size.

Why not just do a level and 1.5" body lift (4" total) instead of a suspension lift and put the money you saved towards the 35"s? I only have about $350 invested in my setup ($150 for the bils, $150 for the body lift, and $50 for the rear spacers)

Oh and here's a pic of her with the stock rims/tires. I had Rancho's at the time as well so the front end was 1.25" lower than it is now.

That is not a bad idea, since it will be pretty much a pavement queen, did you do the install your self? How bad was it? I have always been a car guy until I got this truck so don't know didly squat about lifts, but pretty handy with a wrench.
Thanks! Not a bad option at all for me.

I like this set this up too. Did you do anything other than the bilsteins? Do you think 35's would be issue with this set up? I really like the wheel gap here, and those wheels, Motometal 962's right? that is the exact wheel I was getting qouted but if i can do something like this myself that would be great. What tires are those? This looks sharp imo!

You may end up with a slight rub at full lock on 1 side, but usually it's the lower plastic air dam under the bumper which you can easily trim. I had it happen on my right side when I did my 4" lift with 35x12.5 on 20x10 -24mm offset...I went overboard and took 1/2 inch off, it probably needed 1/8" total. You will be so much happier off with how it looks with 35's then 33's.

Yes I did it myself. There are so many good writeups and youtube videos these days, it's really a no-brainer if you have any mechanical knowledge and the tools to do it. The body lift was a piece of cake, just very time consuming. Realigning the front bumper was probably the most difficult part, but that's not something that's going to keep you off the road if you get hung up. As for the level... checkout this video. It was a huge timesaver for me.

I watched that video last night, I seen the link in another post. Looks like a piece of cake actually. So can you tell me exactly what you did on yours?
Bilsteins on the front and what you said a 1.5" body lift and 2" spacers on the back?

Thanks!

Bilsteins at 2.8 on the front, Zone 1.5" body lift, and 1.5" PA rear coil spacers. I have about .5" to 1" of rake (which I personally prefer) but you may want to go with 1" spacers if you want it more level. I also added some Mevotech UCA's while I had the front end apart, it's highly debated whether these are necessary but for less than $90 I figured why not.
