**** huys need some help again. Got my tires and rims figured out!
Unfortunately been calling around all day trying to find a lift kit. Due to me being in canada my options are limited. I had a shop tell me that rough country, bds, pro comp, act. Have basically all the same components and going for the cheaper(rough country) aint bad idea. So he says.
And ive been mentioning super lift to a few shops and half of them said they never heard of it. Getting some crazy, rediculously high prices. One shop quoted bds kit 4 inch for roughly 2800..and guaranteed 600 labour...Might just go that route
Looked into ordering superlift online and they charge $400 for shipping and the conversion rate makes it roughly $600 more...give or take alittle.
Had a budget of 7500 and my tires/rims came out to be 3700. Seems high but 400 cheaper than any other tire shop from where im from...
This is getting scary pricey.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do, i was hoping to find a deal online for canadians but not much luck there lol.
Im from the BC area..... Just order it from the states its free shipping normally...heck out autoanything.com
i just ordered my 4 inch superlift with Bilsteins for $1565 US which works out to be $2005.35 CDN .... cheapest i can find in Canada is 2200+tax so still cheaper for me bringing over from states even if i have to pay 100 or 200 in duty ....as for Rubber.... Big O's is the place..... Lemme know how you make out.... PM

I've got Toyos, maxed bils, and nothing in rear. Rides like a champ.
Hey guys need some help.
My truck is all finished up with the superlift with bilsteins. Full alignment and had my wheels balanced twice now.
Looks amazing love the look. But im not happy I am getting vibrations at highway speeds. 95km to about 110 km im getting a shake in the truck. Its not horrible, i mean some ppl would probly say not worry about it. But I really notice it. Its not THAT bad, but it is bad enough if i hum with my voice i can hear it change my tone. Like this say im going "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" and when i get to 100 km the hum turns into Hm Hm Hm Hm, kind of the sound when you hum through a fan. lol i know i probly sound nuts.
Im having troubles figuring out if its just the stiffer springs in the back picking up the little bumps on highways, but it seems to constant. Thinking maby tires and rims? I had them balanced after i put them on, and my tire guy said its gotta be the tires. He said if they are still vibes the next step is hub centric rings which my rims did not come with.
Something tells me its the lift kit. And now im all kind of pissed off i ruined the ride on my truck. It drives amazing from 0-90km no issues, and like how it drives over stock except when i get to 100km. But i drive highway 95% of my time so this will drive me mad.
Anyone of you guys run into this? Any suggestions. Something else i need for the lift maby like slip yokes and dirveshaft? im throwing darts in the dark as to what may be going on.
Thanks for any help
Well the tires were apparently balanced at warehouse where i ordered them from which i dont think they were. So ya felt the vibrations so got em balanced again and they said they were way outta wack. But did some research and the xd rockstar 2's have a bigger bore than the stock hubs on truck from what ive
read. So ill try some good hub centric rings and hopfully that works.
Another note, I just got done halfway installing my bushwacker flares. Not sure why but im thinking they stick out to far? My tire rims setup is 35/12.5 tires, 20inch rim, 9 inch wide, -12 offset. My tires look tiny now. Didnt think it would be a issue, because it looks like the tires stick out about 2 inches
Do most guys on here run spacers with the bushwackers? Not sure if I like them. On the fence? love the flares, and want to protect my paint, i was replacing my hemi badge with black one and noticed a couple rock chips already.
