I agree...but.. Truck is definitely taller than 4" (higher than stock). Has almost a whole side mirror, if not more on the black one. Tires also play a factor.

This is my truck, with only a level and 35s beside a stocker.. So yes, every inch counts.

Agreed, but my point was there seems to be this notion that it's go 6" or bust..........and I'm running "small" 35's, well skinny is probably a better description.

And to be fair that example was 2wd on 17's so it's about the "lowest" 4th gen aside from an RT maybe

I was a bit taken when I hopped out and looked back.

So guys got my wheels and rims! they are just sitting in my garage driving me crazy just sitting there,
' Anyhow absolutely pissed my lift kit is not here yet, its now been a month since ordered and has not left the building yet to be shipped to where i ordered it from. First all I ordered the kit through abbotsford big country customs they gave me best price for kit I wanted. It is a 4inch super lift. And would like to say the cusrtomer service at this place is horrible. Ive never had such a ****** time trying to order parts before. I havent got any calls back as to wtf is happening with my lift kit. Ive had to call myself to track things down and told them repeatedly to call me back for any updates. Apparently superlift is missing a part of my lift kit and wont ship until part is found. So im sitting here waiting days on end and big country customs knew about this a couple weeks ago. So Im furious i never got a phone call or any updates on what happened. Just found this all out the other day. Meanwhile if I knew i could have maby ordered something else for a lift.
I guess im just venting, I knew I had to be patient, but not this patient. Just want my truck done waited 3 weeks for the wheels, and my kit should have been here before my wheels.
So i think im calling them and getting my hard earned money back and ordering a kit myself. So frusturating

Lift

**** huys need some help again. Got my tires and rims figured out!

Unfortunately been calling around all day trying to find a lift kit. Due to me being in canada my options are limited. I had a shop tell me that rough country, bds, pro comp, act. Have basically all the same components and going for the cheaper(rough country) aint bad idea. So he says.
And ive been mentioning super lift to a few shops and half of them said they never heard of it. Getting some crazy, rediculously high prices. One shop quoted bds kit 4 inch for roughly 2800..and guaranteed 600 labour...Might just go that route

Looked into ordering superlift online and they charge $400 for shipping and the conversion rate makes it roughly $600 more...give or take alittle.

Had a budget of 7500 and my tires/rims came out to be 3700. Seems high but 400 cheaper than any other tire shop from where im from...

This is getting scary pricey.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do, i was hoping to find a deal online for canadians but not much luck there lol.

Im from the BC area..... Just order it from the states its free shipping normally...heck out autoanything.com
i just ordered my 4 inch superlift with Bilsteins for $1565 US which works out to be $2005.35 CDN .... cheapest i can find in Canada is 2200+tax so still cheaper for me bringing over from states even if i have to pay 100 or 200 in duty ....as for Rubber.... Big O's is the place..... Lemme know how you make out.... PM

For the record, you won't have to pay duty bringing it across the border, just tax. But obviously you'd pay that buying locally anyway so it's kind of irrelevant.

Dam u got a deal
I paid 2500 for my kit taxes in. I just stuck with the company i ordered from. I talked to manager for awhile and all the problems were coming from the superlift end. Apparently they were in the middle of updating the kit because they were having issues with the transmission mount or something. So they were in the middle of remanufacturing the part to fix this problem. So im still kinda pissed i had to wait so long. But kit will be here this coming monday. Trucks getting done wednesday.
I figured i should have ordered straight from states but my passport expired and havent realy thought about renewing it from our dollar.
Anyways got fender flares ready all painted up. Wheels tires ready. Cant wait till shes done!

And i take back from what i said about big country customs as this wasnt really there fault. I just wish i knew about this all sooner. Oh well.

Hey guys need some help.
My truck is all finished up with the superlift with bilsteins. Full alignment and had my wheels balanced twice now.
Looks amazing love the look. But im not happy I am getting vibrations at highway speeds. 95km to about 110 km im getting a shake in the truck. Its not horrible, i mean some ppl would probly say not worry about it. But I really notice it. Its not THAT bad, but it is bad enough if i hum with my voice i can hear it change my tone. Like this say im going "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" and when i get to 100 km the hum turns into Hm Hm Hm Hm, kind of the sound when you hum through a fan. lol i know i probly sound nuts.

Im having troubles figuring out if its just the stiffer springs in the back picking up the little bumps on highways, but it seems to constant. Thinking maby tires and rims? I had them balanced after i put them on, and my tire guy said its gotta be the tires. He said if they are still vibes the next step is hub centric rings which my rims did not come with.

Something tells me its the lift kit. And now im all kind of pissed off i ruined the ride on my truck. It drives amazing from 0-90km no issues, and like how it drives over stock except when i get to 100km. But i drive highway 95% of my time so this will drive me mad.

Anyone of you guys run into this? Any suggestions. Something else i need for the lift maby like slip yokes and dirveshaft? im throwing darts in the dark as to what may be going on.

Thanks for any help

Mine rides perfect.

Why did you have your wheels balanced twice? Because of the same issue?

How did they balance them.... Beads or weights?

I think drummin had an issue like this with his zone lift. But ended up being the wheels. (Not 100% on that, but someone did.)

Well the tires were apparently balanced at warehouse where i ordered them from which i dont think they were. So ya felt the vibrations so got em balanced again and they said they were way outta wack. But did some research and the xd rockstar 2's have a bigger bore than the stock hubs on truck from what ive
read. So ill try some good hub centric rings and hopfully that works.

Another note, I just got done halfway installing my bushwacker flares. Not sure why but im thinking they stick out to far? My tire rims setup is 35/12.5 tires, 20inch rim, 9 inch wide, -12 offset. My tires look tiny now. Didnt think it would be a issue, because it looks like the tires stick out about 2 inches

Do most guys on here run spacers with the bushwackers? Not sure if I like them. On the fence? love the flares, and want to protect my paint, i was replacing my hemi badge with black one and noticed a couple rock chips already.

I'd put money on the lack of hub rings being your issue. As I've posted all over the forum, it's VERY common to have a wobbling/vibration issue at highway speeds when you don't have hub rings. Getting them installed will likely take care of your problem.
Start with that and if there's still an issue after that we'll dig into it deeper.

20x9 -12 offset rims with 35's isn't near wide enough to be running Bushwackers IMO. I wouldn't go with anymore than an OEM flare with that setup to look proper. You would either need spacers or different rims to make it look right however I would just take the Bushwacker flares off. They aren't going to protect your paint anyway as the debris will fly up from the tire under the flare. You'll need mud flaps if you're really concerned about protecting it.

K im taking them off. I was going to get spacers. 1/2 inch. But i hate how they fit as well. All wavy. Kind of pissed off cuz i spent 500 getting them painted. 300 for the set. 800 down the drain. I spent like 6 hours on them painting all the bolts black. Putting double sided tape on them.

Id like to show u guys pics but not sure how to load em

They actually dont look to bad. But i think these dodges have nice lines on them. My opinion they look better without them

There we go. Common guys lets be honest. Take them off get 2500 flares. Or keep the bolt styles and get spacers.
Getting bigger tires/rims is not an option. Spent about 7500 for all these goodies. No more spending $.
Except i think i need 5100's up front. Hate the rake
