I've been shopping for a radio, too. Considering a Pioneer AVIC-X940BT, always got great sound out of them. At first I was considering getting a factory 730N, but I don't think the cost vs value is there for me. The aftermarkets outperform the Chrysler radios by a longshot.

I used to be a big Kenwood fan, but now like the Pioneer GUI much better, less cartoony?? But I think the KW has better GPS, used to be made by Garmin.

Hi, welcome!

Honestly, not a big fan of Kenwood stuff, so I can't really help you out in that aspect. I've had problems with their products in the past so i've been running Pioneer everything(subs, deck, amp, speakers) in the last 3 years and have yet to have any problems. Of course with any product there's always that chance of having some sort of issue!

Right now i'm running a Pioneer AVH-P4200dvd in my '08. Love it. It's basically all touch screen except for a few buttons along the bottom of the screen (volume, SRC, mute, seek). It has the OPTION for all the things you're looking for but you have to buy the accessory for it seperately. The DVD playback comes with it. I didn't really care about the satellite radio and navigation as I always use my iPhone for music and have a seperate GPS if I go anywhere so I didn't get those options. I did however get the bluetooth option. I also love that its got a USB hookup in the back of it so you can plug in your iPhone cord and it charges the phone while you listen to your music or whatever! Obviously this is only applicable if you are an iPhone/iPod user lol. I got this deck last year, so i'm sure that there's probably a newer model of this one by now..

Not sure if this is something you might be interested in... but heres a website that tells you the features, description and reviews. Hope this kind of helps??

Sorry about the picture being rotated to the right... it was straight when i copied it from photobucket. Hmmm... oh well, you'll just have to crank your head to the right to see it properly, lol! :Stupid Me:

Hey DodgeGirl, I wondered, did you steering wheel integration and how happy are you with it if so? And did they have to install an external mic for the radio? (for bluetooth) I have half a mind to try and do this install myself, but I'm scared lol

Do you mean do I have the controls on the steering wheel hooked up to work with the deck?? If so then yes, they are all programmed to work with the deck itself so I barely ever touch the screen... can do it all on the wheel. Its great, I love it.

No external mic for the bluetooth... its all through the speakers in the truck.

My fiance is a mechanic and is also REALLY good with the installation of stereos, remote starters, etc so he put it in for me. It took him a few hours but from what I remember, he had no problems installing it. If you're scared to do it yourself (I don't blame you, I would be too! lol) just take it to a professional!

did you do the install? if so how hard was it?

I would say I am good mechanically but not electrically, actually if it isnt plug and play I might be in troubler without detailed instructions.

Did some research on the new Pioneer I'm thinking of getting, and it does in fact have an ugly external mic. No way to integrate it into my existing u-connect... Any good ideas on how to do a professional tuck or install?

Btw, sorry if I semi-jacked this thread. But hopefully I'm asking something useful?

Thinking about Pioneer-AVH-P4400BH or Pioneer AVH-P3400BH. Only difference is front or rear ports (4400 rear, 3400 front)
