Needing some help

Hey Guys

Needing some help finding the fasteners/screws for the 3rb brake light. I have a 2016 Ram 1500. I changed out the out 3rd brake light and dropped one for the fasteners. Ive call the dealer and looked online Mopar parts. They dont sell them separately or with the 3rd brake light lens. If anyone has the screws willing to sell please message me.

Rockauto had #6511081AA
Each screw was $2 plus 47 cent tax for NC & $2.99 shipped for a total of $7.46
When I find part numbers I usually order through Rockauto or Amazon if they have.

Still not sure why the OP didn’t just take the one he had to the hardware store, and have them match it up for about $0.12 ... It’s not like Ram put magic screws in our trucks ...

I dont have either screw. It only had one in it when i changed the bulb, Dealership was the last to change it. I assume they lost or one fell out

They didn't give a description on the screw but if they are the correct ones the clips description was M4.8x1.59 Screw
So this isn't going to be something that would easily found.
4.8mm/25.4=.189
A #10 screw is .190 in diameter so its possible a #10 screw of some sort would have worked but got to guess the length now with no screw.....might could measure depth if you had calipers.

After a little more looking i dont think the ones posted are the correct ones. I did find that 4.8mmx1.59 and its the same as the tail light lens. However the screw head is different. Tail light lens is much larger than the 3rd.

I found some on McMasterCarr. Bought a couple different sizes and orings too. I think the OEM has an oring also. Once i get them i will post up my findings. Hard to believe that FCA dont sell the screws. They sell every other screw for the truck??
