Hey everyone, so yesterday I drove to True Value Hardware and when I left the store and came out to return home, I start my truck and put it into drive and nothing happens. I pushed on the gas pedal and it just revs and wouldn't move. I put it back in park, and back into drive and it just revs again for a couple of seconds and then lurched into gear finally. Ironically, it drove fine the rest of the evening and I even tested it in my driveway upon returning home. So, I thought maybe it was a one time glitch. Then, I wake up this morning to head to the grocery store, and low and behold it does it again and after revving it in drive for a couple of seconds, it jumps into gear again. Once I left the grocery store, it drove fine and when I got home, I again tested reverse and drive in my driveway, and it seemed fine. So, I have had these two isolated events two days in a row, but then it drives fine after the fact each day. I have called 4 local dealers and nobody has a clue what it could be. There are no lights on the dash, my seat belt was on and all doors closed. Anyone ever experience this and any idea what this could be? I am a little scared to drive it a long distance now because what if it won't go in gear? Also, because of the holiday weekend and busy schedules, no dealer can get me in until next week at which time I fly to Key West for a week of vacation. I am stumped and bummed that my 5 day old $60k truck is doing this. Lastly, it's concerning to rev the truck to a couple thousand RPM's and then hear the truck jump into gear somewhat violently with less than 200 miles on the odometer. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
. I am not sure if the tranny being overfilled was a culprit, but it's nice to know the tech got the fluid to the correct level. I absolutely love this truck, so hopefully this temp glitch is over. Now I can head to Key West and enjoy my feet in the sand without worrying. Thanks everyone for your input and as I mentioned in an earlier thread, it may be a good idea for you new '19 owners to have your tranny fluid levels checked at your next oil change or when convenient. Cheers!
