Hoped to get some help here, but did not- so I went to a local dealer to have it (I thought) re-flashed- or updated. Dealer said he could not fix it, that the Radio Control Module, which was out of production, would need replaced. He suggested an aftermarket part, or a new radio. I called Customer Service, who intimated that maybe I needed to find a new dealer. I called the shop where I bought it- about an hour away- and made an appointment to have it fixed. No luck- they couldn't fix it either- and recommended a rebuilt radio- nearly $600. Everything works but the GPS. Not a RAM fan any longer. Got any ideas?

I went through a similar situation a few years ago. My GPS showed me in a different state, and noting I tried would change it. The dealers said the same thing, the radio had to be changed, and it would be about $1,500. From what I understood from the dealer is a replacement is not a new radio, but one that has been rebuilt. I found a company that can repair them and decided to remove the radio myself and sent it in. It still cost me $500.00 at the time, but it was fixed. If you have a dealer that would replace it for $600. with labor I think that is a pretty good deal. If that was just the cost of the radio, plus labor, I would do it myself. I wouldn't be so hard on Ram since the radio is made by someone else. It is just frustrating...
