You can do it. I think you're going to need a lift at least on the front. Then consider the wheel offset. A lot of scan tools and even Alfa OBD (~$55+cable) can change the tire size in the computer so the speedometer will be correct. I can't remember what the largest tire size is in the selection chart. The 1500's obviously weren't designed for 35" tires, so yeah, it's going to affect gearing, acceleration, mileage, handling, etc. How much, I'm sure others here can say exactly what they've experienced. Expect faster wear on hub/bearing assemblies, ball and steering joints on a 1500 (better if you had a 2500). But all in all, a lot of owners have done it.
