I’m not knowledgeable enough to say for sure but as I understand it if the tire size is put into the BCM it adjusts the powertrain management computer to make the adjustments. I went from a 33 inch tire to a 34 inch tire and input the new size via AlfaOBD without issues.

Wrong place, you should be in the 4th Gen section. But if you're wanting to put 15" rims on it,no,they won't fit over the brake calipers, unless you do a small brake conversion, and the only guy making kits to do that is Jason Dauria, and you'll find him on High Performance Rams or Tuned Rams on Facebook.

There are TONS, and TONS of threads addressing your questions with some great pics as well.

It will help you big time to have a vision and idea of what you’d like it to look like, and just as important….. the purpose your Ram will have…. and then determine what works and fits best.

Mine has a 7” lift. I love the look of the 9” lifts with 37’s, but for me it simply makes no sense and isn’t practical. I’ve got several Bulldogs weighing in at 50 lbs each, and tossing them up and into the Ram just isn’t going to cut it. Think you get the point.

Good luck and post pics of your Ram :waytogo:

Welcome. Smallest rim that will fit properly is a 17". You can go to 35" tires, just have the dealer set the BCM for that. You are going to need to do some mods for rubbing etc if you go over 33". Also, 6 speed transmission and those 3:29 gears, over 33" you will notice a drop in how hard it will launch.

You can do it. I think you're going to need a lift at least on the front. Then consider the wheel offset. A lot of scan tools and even Alfa OBD (~$55+cable) can change the tire size in the computer so the speedometer will be correct. I can't remember what the largest tire size is in the selection chart. The 1500's obviously weren't designed for 35" tires, so yeah, it's going to affect gearing, acceleration, mileage, handling, etc. How much, I'm sure others here can say exactly what they've experienced. Expect faster wear on hub/bearing assemblies, ball and steering joints on a 1500 (better if you had a 2500). But all in all, a lot of owners have done it.

cheers
