so installed some smoked Spyder projectors and love the look. However the H1 bulb is so weak its like stock bulbs on the quads. I'm doing the 4 pod fog mod right now and need some input on some really bright hid conversions for the H1s. price is not an issue and here are some pics

Throw in a 50w H1 HID kit. Should brighten it up a bit lol. I run 50w morimoto elites in my stock projectors and it's a huge improvent.

I prob have 4 H1 HID kits running currently in 3 vehicles. But a total of 6 kits. Big fan of DDM, but I also have morimoto on my truck. In the process of aquiring parts for a H1 projector retrofit in my stock 14 fogs.

I've had good luck with DDM and never had a bad bulb or ballast. I had 2 morimoto ballasts go and a 3 HID bulbs. I'm running warranty ballasts and bulbs currently. But retrofitsources warranty process is amazing. If u can validate the $140 price tag for a HID kit.

I had the stock quads in my 2015 but hated the look cause everything is blue or black on my truck and those stock clear/chrome lights didn't look right. I did same as you and got the smoked Spyder and those stock H1 bulbs suck. If you look at them they look like they cost $1 to replace. I ordered the Morimoto 50 watt HID from Retroshop and way way brighter. Only issue I'm having is the randomly shut off and get headlight out so guess I need to order one of there new parts seeing as I ordered the generic Can-bus kit 2 weeks before they released he actual 2015 Ram. Pictures show passenger with hid and driver stock H1, then I stood in front of each light separately to show how each one was by itself. As you can see the HID is way brighter and this is just after the swap without even adjusting aim yet. Now I wanna do the highs as well kituploadfromtaptalk1437305947938.jpguploadfromtaptalk1437305985170.jpguploadfromtaptalk1437306008325.jpguploadfromtaptalk1437306043229.jpguploadfromtaptalk1437306058591.jpg

I've seen the morimoto kits but wasn't to sure about them. those DDM ballast look like the old school style that where awesome.

Im just gonna need a really bright kit cause I'm used to running fogs and I'm deleting those.
