New kid on the block

New guy here from Southwest Missouri. Just purchased a New to Me 2001 Ram 1500 Magnum 5.9, Automatic 4x2 standard cab. I'm hoping to learn a lot here, as this is my FIRST Chrysler product. Got is as a replacement for the compact Nissan pickup that got totaled.

My first qquestion is about the oil filter used on this engine. WHat is the Mopar number (or numbers) for the oil filter used on this engine? The owners manual does not state the filter number, and I would like to use OEM stuff instead of the aftermarket junk that is out there.

If it were me instead of the OEM I'd go with a Wix (or NAPA Gold, same filter). Wix (or Napa) is probably the better filter on the market as far as filtration and quality.

I guess nobody here knows what the Mopar number for this oil filter is. Guess I'll have to go to Dodge dealer to find out, as local parts store will only give me the number for the Wix or Fram filters.
