Hi guys,I am actually in the market for a truck and I'm going look at a 2016 8spd 5.7 hemi tomorrow, pre owned with 25k miles. My question is:how is the aftermarket for these trucks? I've been balancing on the Silverado,3.5 ecoboost, and the 14+hemi. I love modding for performance and cosmetics I find the ram to be the most aesthetic truck on the road currently.I plan on getting into transmission, major exhaust upgrades possible cams if affordable(last truck cam job would run over 4000$) would love to hear back from you guys. Thanks in advance!

Okay,I was checking out his current build looks like he has a lot of coals in the fire. Will have to check him out. A couple co workers have the hemis and they swear by em. One of them has the best sounding exhaust note I have ever heard on a truck.

No doubt the Ram is the best looking truck on the market, but as for the aftermarket, it's probably the most limited when it comes to performance parts. Mopar = $, always has, always will. The Ford 5.0, from my experience, has the most impressive gain from simply adding a tuner out of the big 3, and the GM trucks have the most robust engine and trans for modding. You have to figure out what you want to do and make your decision from there. If you're not planning on going over the top with power mods, Ram all the way.

Without boost, I think Ram is the best platform to own right now. There are very few chevy or Ford trucks running mid 12's N/A with basic bolt ons and tuning like we are doing with the Ram trucks.

Add a bigger cam, some gear, and/or converter, and you will hurt some feelings, and be doing it in the best looking truck of the bunch as well.

Give me a shout if you need any help with the build. We can get you steered in the right direction.
