I am a widow who inherited a 2006 3500 4x4 duelly with a 5.9 diesel. It was maintained by my husband who was an excellent mechanic on all types of engines and while I tried to be a good helper, I failed to learn everything that he knew. One thing I did learn is that in order to get the correct solution to a problem I need to know how to fully describe the issue(s), and ask the correct questions of the person(s) with the expertise to solve the problem. I am looking forward to getting expert advice from the members.

WELCOME!!!!! They are a popular truck for those doing lots of work. Do not know how to say this next bit correctly, as I do not know you and/or ? So here goes. I am sure you know diesels are different than gas But not just the motor all of the truck. If what you have is now not needed anymore It may be better to move to a "lighter" vehicle. Again do not know your situation nor trying to find out about it. There are probably more of us here skilled (?) in non-diesel vehicles. And everything about them cost more. But that is why those that buy them do buy them. Best "MULES" on the planet and extremely long lasting.
But anyway glad to have new people, as all here get tired of us old ones saying we know everything! But hey that's what my Dad taught me.
